Hard Materials - USB BODY!!!

Here is my presentation of what My USB body looks like!
We had started off my drawing 2 ideas of what type of USB we should make, Then we had made a wooden model of the thing we chose. Soon Enough we had created the actual model piece (Thanks to Mr Sutherland) as you can see up there is the process we went through to make these!

Alphabetical Research

The Alphabetical Research is a fun activity Room 10 do every morning for 10 minutes! basically what happens is each kid from room 10 will choose a letter and then they will choose something/anything that starts with the chosen letter! Then they will research about it! In this picture, I have chosen E and the thing I chose was Elytra wing from Minecraft, Here look at the picture:

Technology Challenge - Robotic Arm

Today for technology challenge we had done a challenge about creating a robotic arm and using it to pick up a coke bottle and move it a meter away from where it originally was!

My team was able to complete the challenge all because of our teamwork.

Technology Challenge - Marshmallow tower!

Yesterday We did a Tech Challenge where we have to make the tallest building using only marshmallows and Raw Spaghetti sticks. I was in a group with all other girls (I had to deal with it :D). Here is a picture of the groups!

In My group, there was: Lily, Sunshine and Sofia.
Also after the competition, we found out that our team won, our tower was 59cm high!

Passion Project Complete!

Passion Project Week 1 Update - report

I am working on a game which has to games merged within it and what do I mean you might ask?

For My Passion Project, I have decided to create a game where I mix two different games into!
So far I have Just researched to games that I will be working with one of which is Space Invaders!
I am very excited and also nervous (Just in case anything goes wrong! :(

I Will be sharing my final product on Friday and It will be amazing! Trust me ;)

Measurement Task - How to find The volume of a cylinder! - Week 1 Term 2

Today My Group (Wiles) and I were teaching each other how to find the volume of a shape! Shamus and I did the cylinder. We learned it Practised And Proved It to the others! Here are some Pictures on how you too can find the volume of a cylinder:
